I had the opportunity to operate the Caterpillar 966H for a project. The cab provides comfort, especially the air conditioning system which works exceptionally even in high temperatures. One downside is the lack of sideview mirrors, which would enhance visibility. The performance of the hydraulic transmission system stood out to me, making operation smooth. Overall, a reliable machine for various tasks.

The machine has an excellent powerful engine. The tracks run perfectly. The cabin has everything for a comfortable work. Although, once our hydraulic system broke down. We had to pay a hefty sum for repairs, so don't push the limits and it will serve you for a long time.

I’ve had the chance to operate the new Caterpillar D8, and here’s what stood out. The engine is robust and efficient-it gets the job done without guzzling fuel unnecessarily. Operating it felt smooth, with the automatic transmission adapting well to varying loads. However, while the cab design is roomy and climate controls work well, I found the touchscreen less intuitive than I’d hoped-it could use improvement. Maintenance seems hassle-free thanks to the ground-level service points. It’s a reliable machine overall.

Awful machine that constantly breaks down. We are the second owners, but in 3 years of use, we have already replaced the shock absorbers, repaired the suspension, and much more. The repairs have already consumed a significant portion of the company's budget. We have put it up for sale.

I have a construction company, and after 3 years since its foundation, I decided not to rent but purchase a machine. I preferred the Liebherr LTM 1100 mobile crane based on the advice of friends. The equipment is easy to operate. A friend, who has experience with this model, had previously mentioned some shortcomings - the bypass key is intended solely for emergency lowering of the load when the lift limiter is triggered, not for lifting the load. The ballast is usually unloaded on the chassis only after the mobile crane is positioned on its supports. As for the electrical system, in case of a breakdown, it is necessary to immediately contact the service center, without attempting to solve the problem independently.
